How We Fund the Program

We have several funding processes in place: 

• We operate the Sustainable Living Center Oregon, based in Kernville, Oregon, providing crab trapping resources and opportunities and will be supporting the “Just Wait Teens” through the work of volunteers, receiving clean plastic, turning it into filaments, and using 3-D printing to create the traps..
• We are placing "Honor Boxes" in retail sites around Lincoln County..
• We are inviting "Silver Angels" to sponsor individual teens..

How We Started

Carl Palmer made it through his teen years having pledged not to use alcohol or tobacco, with the promise of receiving a significant amount of money at his 21st birthday if he did so.
Three generations of his family have now done the same, and all of them are free of the troubles associated with addictions.
Seeing a system that worked, Carl, being an engineer, wanted to make it more available.
The result? The Just Wait Foundation, with its Just Wait Teens program.

What We Are

The Just Wait Foundation is a non-profit corporation, certified as an IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and monitored by the Charitable Division of the Oregon Department of Justice.
Its programs are funded by gifts and donations, which are reported to the IRS and the Oregon Department of Justice each year..
